The hotel

Hotel Athanor is proud to welcome you to Beaune, the main town in the Burgundy wine region. The hotel is located in the heart of the town’s historic centre.

Opposite the Collegiate Church, near the Hospices, the Hotel Dieu museum and Place Carnot, this former Benedictine convent dates from the 16th century and takes its guests back in time.

Hotel Athanor has two buildings: the oldest was built in the 16th century by the Benedictine monks and the second dates from the 19th century.
Built in Burgundy stone, decorated with frescos painted on its walls and French-style ceilings, Hotel Athanor takes you back to the characteristic charm of a historic dwelling.

Faithful to its Burgundian origins, a Burgundy stone staircase takes guests to rooms that are decorated with visible beams or offer a more contemporary design. Here, the colours are warm with a rustic touch to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
